Frequently Asked Questions

How far ahead of time should we request a quote?

The holiday season can sneak up quickly. We book on a first come first serve basis, so the sooner you request your quote the more availability you can work with to ensure your installation date for your lights!

Do we NEEd to provide anything?

Nope! We do it all. We bring, install, fix(if needed), take down and store all lights and equipment required. We also include an automated timer, all necessary extension cords, and even the proper totes to store the lights in.

Can you install the lights we already own?

Yes and no. Because we desire to give our customers the best experience possible, at this time, we mostly service only the lights we provide so that we can ensure we can warranty, and provide the proper color and same product replacements. Under certain circumstances and under approval of close visual inspection, we may service the customer owned lights but with a 1 time fee for adjustments, starting at $250.

What is the average cost of lighting?

This is largely dependent on the amount of lights & décor needed, as well as the difficulty & danger of the roofline or project. We take safety very seriously. Our pricing starts as low as $750-$1,000 depending on our area for residential packages which may include extensive coverage depending on the size of your home! We provide detailed quotes so that you know cost ahead of time.

What happens if something goes out after installation?

Let us know as soon as possible and we will reply within 24 hours to assign a date to make any repairs or replacements. It is normal to have a few lights burn out each season, and we are happy to come out and make things look like new again.

Do I need to be home for installation?

For any exterior lighting, we can install without a homeowner present. We would love to see a photo at night when you are able to turn it on for the first time!

Do you offer leased or purchased lights options?

We offer both options for Leased or Purchased Lights options to fit your budget needs. Depending on your location, our design team may present one option over the other but just let us know what you have in mind!

What is your product warranty?

3 years on all lighting and electrical components. After 3 years, we typically continue to replace the few bulbs that may go out from year to year. We still have 10+ year old customer systems that are still keeping up! But we may recommend replacement after that many years due to the extreme Texas Sun. Although our greenery is UV protected and handpicked to stand up to the Texas Sun, we are unable to promise no fading at this time.

Do you offer LED lights?

Not only do we strictly offer the best quality commercial grade C9 LED lights on the market, but we also offer the New Filament style LED C9 bulbs that have become quite popular over the past few years. These match the old incandescent (energy inefficient) bulbs quite well with the clear shell, and soft tones.

What is the quality of your product?

Quality is a must for us to help reduce call backs for possible product malfunction. Our bulbs are Commercial Grade, LED, the larger C9 (vs the smaller C7), and the thicker Polycarbonate shell that holds up to the Texas Sun well! (vs the thinner plastic shells that others may offer. Our LED lights contain the new SMD (Surface Mount Diode) Technology which means the LED diode now surface mounted higher resulting in a much brighter bulb, vs the others with the lower mounted diodes! The LED mini lights we use throughout our greenery and to wrap trees, etc, are the waterproof, non removable bulb type that very rarely burn out!

Are the lights custom fit?

All of our C9 LED lights are custom fit to your home which looks amazing! No extra lights stretching across weird gaps or going down the side only partially and looking odd!

When do you take the lights down?

We strive to remove everyone’s lights in a timely manner from January 2nd - January 22. We totally understand the concern of being the last one with your lights up in your neighborhood so we move with urgency! We are likely able to get to you sooner than later within this timeframe, but please consider any rain and weather delays may extend this timeframe by the count of each bad weather day.

How do you secure the lights and décor to my home or project?

After 12+ years of learning what works best and prevents damage on your home or business, we have come up with the most effective solutions for securing Christmas lights to the project. For rooflines, we use a removable, non permanent, “Tuff” clip, that fully hugs each light bulb so that no clips are left behind on your roofline or yard. For facia outlines such as brick or stone around windows or entryways, a removable hot glue is used (not on painted or stucco surfaces as this may cause damage). Removable light stakes are used to outline flower beds and walkways. Small removable staples may be used to secure lights outlining garage frames and to secure mini lights on tree wraps (as they may sag due to expansion and contraction during weather changes).
